IPL 2022 Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap updates

NEW DELHI: With three centuries and three fifties in 11 matches, Rajasthan Royals’ opener Jos Buttler continued to sit at the top of the Orange Cap standings. With a total of 618 runs, Buttler is averaging 61.80 as he continues to impress everyone with his breathtaking performances. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul is second on the list with a couple of centuries and two fifties to his name.

Rahul so far has got 451 runs from 11 games. Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf du Plessis is third on the list with 389 runs from 12 games.

IPL 2022 POINTS TABLE

On the bowling front, Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal held on to his Purple Cap with a total of 22 wickets in 11 matches. Chahal took his first IPL fifer against KKR, which included a hat-trick too. RCB spinner Wanindu Hasaranga took a sensational 5 for 18 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday to jump to second place with 21 wickets after 12 games.
