Apple may launch its first-ever M2-powered Mac Pro by Q1 2023

Apple is reportedly working on its first-ever M2-powered Mac Pro which is expected to release by spring 2023. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Cupertino-based tech giant has already started internally testing the upcoming Mac Pro with macOS Ventura 13.3. Previously, Gurman claimed that the company cancelled its plans to introduce a “high-end Apple Silicon Mac Pro” that likely would have featured the M2 Extreme chip variant. Now, Gurman has revealed that Apple is working on the M2-powered Mac Pro which is rumoured to run the yet-to-be-released macOS Ventura 13.3. Apple M2-powered Mac Pro: Expected specsAs per the report, the company’s first Mac Pro with Apple Silicon is expected to come powered by the M2 Ultra chipset. This chipset is also likely to power a new version of Mac Studio. The latest Mac Pro was released in 2019 with an Intel processor. The upcoming Mac Pro model is rumoured to retain the same design as the last device. Earlier, Gurman also claimed that both macOS 13.2 and iOS 16.3 (which are currently available to developers) will be rolled out to the end users sometime between February and March.
