iPhone 16 Pro Max may house a periscope camera
Apple is reportedly planning on including a new periscope camera in iPhone 16 Pro Max. This lens will allow users to take photos and videos from a much wider angle than ever before. However, it appears that Apple may be limiting the use of this lens to the iPhone 16 Pro Max only. If rumours are to be believed, Apple may limit the periscope lens technology to the Pro models due to the space that the hardware requires. Similarly, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo took to Twitter where he mentioned that periscope lens technology will be exclusively seen in the rumoured iPhone 16 Pro Max model. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely to offer up to 6x optical zoom, an improvement over the current 3x optical zoom in the iPhone 14 Pro models.For the last few years, the Pro and Pro Max iPhones have offered similar features, and battery life has been the main distinguishing feature between the devices aside from display size.
