Oppo Reno 8 Lite with AMOLED display and Snapdragon 695 chipset launched in Spain

After weeks of rumours and teasers, Oppo has unveiled the Reno 8 Lite, a successor to the Reno 7 Lite. The smartphone has made its debut in Spain. The Reno 8 Lite is the fourth member of the Reno 8 series and it joins the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ phones. The smartphone is reportedly a rebranded version of the Reno 7Z and shares the design and specifications with the Reno 7 Lite. The Reno 8 Lite also shares its specifications with the recently released F21 Pro. Oppo Reno 8 Lite: Price, availabilityThe Reno 8 Lite is priced at EUR 429 (Rs 35,690). The smartphone comes in a single storage configuration of 8GB+128GB. It is available to purchase through its official regional shop in Spain and comes in two colourways – Black and Rainbow. We are not aware of the company’s plans to launch Reno 8 Lite outside of Spain, including India. Oppo Reno 8 Lite: SpecificationsOppo Reno 8 Lite features a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs ColorOS 12 on top of Android 12. Oppo’s custom-OS ColorOS offers an option to expand the RAM up to 5GB. The Reno 8 Lite boasts a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. As for the optics, the Reno 8 Lite has a triple camera setup at the back. The rear camera setup comprises a 64MP primary camera and a pair of 2MP macro and depth units. The smartphone has a 16MP camera on the front housed inside the punch-hole cutout. Connectivity options on the Reno 8 Lite include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. Oppo Reno 8 Lite India launchThe company has so far not disclosed anything about the phone’s India launch.
